On or about March 10, 2010 you received a courtesy letter notifying you that.a
complaint had been filed regarding violation of city code on your property. To date, the
violation has only partially been corrected.
The violation is for a Nuisance of Dog Feces (See enclosed photo.)
According to the City Code, you must. correct the violation within 5 days of the
receipt of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be reinspected on or about March 22, 2010.
Again, if the violation has not been resolved a citation will be issued.

Dear Ms. Sailors:
This is a courtesy letter to notify you that a complaint has been filed on your property
located at the above address for one or more of the following code violations:
Section 6-333 Junk Accumulation
XX Section 4-505 Nuisances (Dog Feces throughout yard.)
4-501 and 4-502
Enclosed you will find a copy of the codes for your reference regarding the noted
violations.
Three (3) days after receipt of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be inspected
to assure the violation has been removed. If following the inspection it is determined that the
violation still exists, you will receive a formal notice to abate the violation within five (5) days of
the date of the formal notice as per the attached code. If an extension is needed for additional
time to comply with this request, please contact City Hall at (402) 426-4191.

for your efforts in helping to preserve a clean, neat and safe community.

Please be advised that although the enclosed letter is addressed to the tenant of your property
referenced above, it is ultimately your responsibility as the property owner to make sure the
violation is resolved.
We will continue to work with the tenant to remove this violation. However, if the violation is
not resolved in the time allotted and a citation is issued, the City Attorney has determined the
citation will be issued to you, the property owner. Therefore, we appreciate any assistance you
can give us in working with your tenant to remove this violation.
For any questions or to request an extension, please call City Hall at 402-426-4191.
