On the previous drive up ATM we did over this past spring at No Frills on South 9t" Street my general contractor, Eddy Contracting, LLC, overseen all of the work on the project — concrete, utilities, installing & hooking up the ATM. Eddy Contracting and his subs took out all of the appropriate permits with the City of Blair and the county. On this new project at Hayden Place there are several different parties involved and to my knowledge there is no single source or "general' running the project. It is also my understanding from Susan Bishop that permits have been issued or are in the process for the drive, the ATM island & foundation, and the electrical. My only role in this project is to physically install the ATM and the canopy; Susan tells me that you have instructed her that we will need to pull a permit for this part as well. Can you please tell me what information you will require and what type of permit we should apply for and I will have my contractor do this. They will simply own the structure. DKC (or their contractor) will need a permit for the foundation. TMS Design will then need a permit to stall the canopy and ATM (and the electrical permit from the state). And regarding the electrical permit, if the conduit from the building to the ATM is done as part of the foundation work, that will probably require an electrical permit from the state too. Usually these things are handled under one permit through a general contractor. If one electrical contractor was hired for the whole project, that might make the process easier. Between TMS Design, First National Bank / Washington County Bank, and DKC Development, there are several people to coordinate with. My understanding of this ATM project is that: ® DKC owns the site, has installed the drive lane, and will install the foundation in the next few months, weather permitting. ® TMS Design will install the canopy and ATM. ® First National Bank / Washington County Bank will own the ATM, but has declined to be the general contractor and oversee the foundation. Therefore, all three organizations (DKC, TMS Design and First National Bank) will need to get a permit for their respective piece of the work. ® TMS Design will also need to get an electrical permit through the Nebraska Electrical Division (www. electrical. state.ne.us). ® Since this is being done separately by all three organizations, each organization will need to be registered as a general contractor with the City of Blair (if they aren't already). ® Plan reviews and inspections will be done by our building inspector, Howard Wolfe. Between TMS Design, First National Bank / Washington County Bank, and DKC Development, there are several people to coordinate with. My understanding of this ATM project is that: ® DKC owns the site, has installed the drive lane, and will install the foundation in the next few months, weather permitting. TMS Design will install the canopy and ATM. First National Bank / Washington County Bank will own the ATM, but has declined to be the general contractor and oversee the foundation. They will simply own the structure. DKC (or their contractor) will need a permit for the foundation. TMS Design will then need a permit to stall the canopy and ATM (and the electrical permit from the state). And regarding the electrical permit, if the conduit from the building to the ATM is done as part of the foundation work, that will probably require an electricalpermit from the state too. Usually these things are handled under one permit through a general contractor. If one electrical contractor was fired lirr the whole project, that aright make the process easier. On the previous drive up ATM we did over this past spring at No Frills on South 9th Street my general contractor, Eddy Contracting, LLC, overseen all of the work on the project — concrete, utilities, installing & hooking up the ATM. Eddy Contracting and his subs took out all of the appropriate permits with the City of Blair and the county. On this new project at Hayden Place there are several different parties involved and to my knowledge there is no single source or "general" running the project. It is also my understanding from Susan Bishop that permits have been issued or are in the process for the drive, the ATM island & foundation, and the electrical. My only role in this project is to physically install the ATM and the canopy; Susan tells me that you have instructed her that we will need to pull a permit for this part as well.
