Dear Mr. Svendgard,
On June 30, 2009, you were sent a letter requesting you construct a post and cable
fence along the east side of the above property in accordance with the conditional use
permit granted in May, 1994. On August 13, 2009, Tom Sternberg requested an
extension until September 30, 2009 in order that the previous owner could install the
fence.
To date, no fence permit has been obtained or a fence constructed. Therefore, this will
be your final notice to install a fence on or before October 31, 2009. If you do not
comply with this request on or before October 31, 2009, this matter will be turned over
to City Attorney Geoff Hall for further enforcement through the court system.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in constructing this fence prior to October 31,
2009. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

RE: Conditional Use Permit - Self Storage Units - 230 N. 20th Street
Dear Mr. Svendgard,
In May, 1994, a conditional use permit was granted for the above self storage units. As
part of the conditional use permit approval, several stipulations were required as follows:
1) Directional Lighting; 2) Applicant was to work with the Director of Public Works on
drainage; 3) A post and cable fence installed along the east side; and 4) Trash be
maintained and picked up on a routine basis.
It has been brought to our attention through a complaint that the post and cable fence has
never been installed along the east side of this property as required by the conditional use
permit. Therefore, we ask that you install this fence by August 31, 2009 in order to
comply with your conditional use permit. We will inspect the property on or after this
date to ensure compliance.
