Dear Ms. Sears,
It has been brought to our attention that there is a boat trailer occasionally parked
partially on City right of way in the front of your property and it is occasionally there for an
extended period of time.
Please be aware this is a violation of the Municipal Code regarding parking on city
right of way. Enclosed is a copy of the code stating it is unlawful for a boat or a
recreational vehicle to park on City right of way for more than 48 hours in a 72 hour
period (Section 5- 406.01) without moving. This boat trailer should be parked on your
private property or stored off premise if parking it entirely on your property is not feasible.
If this violation has been taken care of, we would like to thank you for your efforts
in helping to preserve a clean, neat and safe community. Otherwise, please remove the
boat trailer by Monday, June 29, 2009. Your property will be re- inspected for compliance.
