COUNCILMEMBER BIFFAR INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed schedules for special assessments against properties in Water Extension
District No. 44, Paving and Storm Sewer District No. 185 , and Lot 15, Block 95, Blair City ,
Washington County, Nebraska (272 N. 21st Street) be and are hereby tentatively approved and
placed on file with the City Clerk for inspection by all interested parties; that the Mayor and City
Council shall hold a special meeting at 218 South 16 Street on the 14th day of February, 2006, at
7:00 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of sitting as a Board of Equalization to levy special assessments
on the lots and parcels of land benefited by the improvements in Water Extension District No. 44,
Paving and Storm Sewer District No. 185, and for Lot 15, Block 95, Blair City, Washington
County, Nebraska (272 N. 21st Street) benefited by property cleanup by the City of Blair; that
notice of the time of holding such meeting and the purpose for which it is held shall be published in
The Enterprise, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in the City at least 10 days
(two publications) before the date of said hearing; that the City Clerk is directed to publish such
notice in the foam presented to this meeting, which form of notice shall be annexed to the minutes
showing passage of this resolution, and the Clerk shall mail copies of such notice to all interested
parties as provided by law.
COUNCIL MEMBER FANOELE MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER BIFFAR.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS VOTING "AYE" STEWART, SCHEVE,
SHOTWELL, FANOELE, ABBOTT, WOLFF, MCMANIGAL AND BIFFAR AND COUNCIL
MEMBERS NONE VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 24TH DAY OF JANUARY, 2006.
