On or about February 27, 2009, you received a courtesy letter notifying you that
a complaint had been filed regarding violation of city code on your property. To date,
the violation has not been corrected.
The violation is for Trash Accumulation (Trash along the drainage ditch on the
north side of the above referenced property.)
According to the City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the
receipt of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be reinspected on or about April 10, 2009.
Again, if the violation has not been resolved a citation will be issued.

RE: Trash along north side of Burger King property - 970 Washington Street, Blair, Nebraska
Dear Sir or Madam,
The City of Blair has received a complaint regarding trash accumulation along the north side of your
Burger King facility in Blair, Nebraska. It appears the trash has been accumulated from this facility and/or
patrons visiting the facility. As you will note, this trash is along a drainage ditch and will eventually end up in
the city's storm drainage system.
Therefore, we ask that you clean up this area (see enclosed photos), which is considered a nuisance and
in violation of our municipal code. Enclosed please find a copy of the codes for your reference regarding debris
accumulation. Three (3) days after the date of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be inspected to
assure the violation has been removed. If following the inspection it is determined that the violation still exists,
you will receive a formal notice to abate the violation within five (5) days of the date of the formal notice as per
the attached code.
If this violation has been taken care of, I would like to thank you for your efforts in helping to preserve a
clean, neat and safe community. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
Again, on behalf of the citizens of Blair, I would like to thank you for your prompt attention and
cooperation in this matter.
