2009-07COUNCILMEMBER ABBOTT INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair, Nebraska, may from time
to time as necessary set and establish fees for various services provided by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Blair and EMS Billing Services, Inc. have entered into an
agreement for EMS Billing to provide billing and collection services for the Blair Volunteer Fire
and Rescue Department
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, THAT the fees to be billed and collected by EMS
Billing Services, Inc. on behalf of the Blair Volunteer Fire Department are set forth on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated by this referenced herein; provided further, that all such rates
shall become effective immediately.
COUNCILMEMBER WOLFF MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ,
WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER BIFFAR. UPON ROLL
CALL, COUNCILMEMBERS CHRISTIANSEN VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCILMEMBERS
SHEPARD, STEWART, KEPHART, FANOELE, ABBOTT, WOLFF, JENSEN AND
CHRISTIANSEN VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 24TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2009.
