2123 Washington StDATE February 2, 1979 FROM W. L. Groves, Chief of Police TO Terry Bailey, City Administrator SUBJECT Health Inspection At approximately 1600 hrs the City Building inspector and I inspected a two family dwelling at 2123 Washington Street. The first thing that is noticed about the house is that the front porch is in very had condition and about to fall off of the house. The following items were found inside the two apartments. 1. Sewer pipe leaking in the cellar, a large pool of water on the dirt floor. 2. Sewer is leaking over a fuse box. 3. Sink and bath tub drains in both apartments leaking on the floors. 4, Blair Police Department INTER-OFFICE MEMO The upstairs apartment has only one exit on the front porch. (Two doors, but only one escape route) The occupant of the upstairs apartment stated that when she drains her dish water it ccmes up in her bath tub and takes several hours to drain. In my opinion the house is not fit for human habitation and should be condemned as soon as possible. '(- U L.
