Pushing of snow from private property onto city right of way

It has been brought to our attention that either your maintenance crews and/or
your snow removal contractor is pushing snow from your property across the
street onto city right of way (See attached photo).
This is a courtesy letter reminding you City Code (Section 8-104) prohibits a
person or business from pushing/plowing/blowing or causing snow to be
deposited onto paved portions of streets or alleys of the city from any business
lot, parking lot, or other private premises. This deposit of snow causes increased
difficulty for our street crews to properly clear snow from the public right of way
especially after these deposits of snow freeze.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and ask that you please adhere to
city code which strictlv prohibits depositing snow from private property onto city
right of way.
