AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG 17TH STREET
BETWEEN COLFAX AND SOUTH STREETS 1N THE CITY OF BLAIR, WASHINGTON
COUNTY, NEBRASKA, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL
FORCE AND EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the east side of 17t" Street between Colfax and South Streets has excess
right-of--way that is not necessary for the needs of the City of Blair. As a result, the area consisting
of the east 5' of the 17t" Street right-of--way from Colfax Street to South Street is hereby vacated and
the ownership of the same, pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. 16-611, shall revert to the owners of the
adjacent real estate known as Lot 6, Block 76, Blair City and Lot 7, Block 76, Blair City, both in
Washington County, Nebraska.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and following the passage
and publication hereof as required by law.
