RE: City right of way
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bucklin,
It has been brought to my attention that you and /or some of your neighbors are unaware
of where the city street right of way is in relationship to your property line on 20 Street. The
city right of way in front of your property is eighty (80) feet or approximately forty (40) feet on
either side of the center line of 20 Street.
Enclosed please find for your reference, a map depicting the city right of way. As you
may or may not be aware, even though the public has the ability to transgress the right of way,
City Code and Nebraska State Statutes require the abutting property owner to maintain the area
between the street and your actual property line.
