As a reminder, zoning regulations state that residential fences and any component of that fence can be no higher than 6'. Therefore, you will need to correct this violation by Friday, October 10, 2008 or this matter will be turned over the City Attorney for further action. We will reinspect your property after that date for compliance with this request. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. On July 24, 2008, this fence was inspected by Dale Miller, City Building Inspector and failed due to a section of the wood privacy fence measuring higher than 6'. Please be advised that residential fences and any component of that fence can be no higher than 6'. This section of the fence is a violation of the city's zoning regulations. Enclosed is a copy of Section 1102 of these regulations for your reference regarding fence construction, which was given to you at the time of permit issuance. You will need to correct this zoning violation on or before August 31, 2008. We will reinspect your property after that date for compliance with this request.
