Dear Mr. & Mrs. Matzen:
On or about July 24, 2008, you received a formal letter notifying you that a
complaint had been filed regarding violation of city code on your property. We thank
you for taking care of licensing your vehicle. We do however need to inform you that
although the vehicle is currently licensed, it is still in violation of city code.
The violation is for Junk Accumulation - Inoperable Vehicle. Even if the engine in
the vehicle is operable, the vehicle is inoperable because it is on blocks.
According to the City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the
receipt of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be reinspected on or about August 4, 2008. If
the violation has not been resolved, a citation will be issued. If an extension is needed
for additional time to comply with this request, please contact City Hall at (402) 426-
4191.

This is a courtesy letter to notify you that a complaint has been filed on your property
located at the above address for one or more of the following code violations:
Enclosed you will find a copy of the codes for your reference. If this violation has been
taken care of, I would like to thank you for your efforts in helping to preserve a clean, neat and
safe community.
Three (3) days after the date of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be
inspected to assure the violation has been removed. If following the inspection it is determined
that the violation still exists, you will receive a formal notice to abate the violation within five (5)
days of the date of the formal notice as per the attached code.
