I'.e: Code Updating Services -
Municipal Code Services, Inc., hereafter "the Company," is pleased to provide municipal
code updating services to the City of Blair; hereafter "the City," on the following basis:
1. The Company will provide a copy of its Legislative Update newsletter
outlining all laws affecting the City of Blair at the completion of the regular
session of the Nebraska Unicameral. At the option of the City, the Company
will draft and. provide to the City any ordinances of a general nature that the
City chooses for adoption, either mandated by statute or ordinances unique to
the City of Blair.
2. The Company will draft all ordinances of a general nature to be adopted by
the City for a charge of $85.00 per ordinance (or per topic if an ordinance
contains multiple topics). This does not include special municipal enterprise
ordinances such as bond ordinances or annual appropriation ordinances, etc.,
nor does this include general recodification of ordinances.
3. The above fee includes up to 20 copies of the amended pages required to
.incorporate the ordinance into the City's existing_ordinance book.
4. This service will continue until written notification is received by the
undersigned that such services are no longer desired by the City or until such
time.as the Company notifies the City that it no longer provides this service.
5. The above charge will continue for a guaranteed two-year period from the
date of this letter and thereafter until such time as the Company institutes
revised charges. Such revised charges will... not go into effect until accepted
by the City.
In order for the Company to provide this updating service, the City will need to make
available one copy of its current code book or a CD containing its ordinances and
copies of all ordinances not yet incorporated therein. If the City decides to subscribe to
this service, please sign the acceptance at the end of this letter.
