Dear Mr. Stambaugh,
Due to the lack of maintenance on the above property, the City of Blair hired an
individual to clear the sidewalks on February 12, 2008. We attempted to make contact with a
resident at this address and giving notice by posting a sign; however, the property appears to be
vacant.
In checking with the Washington County Registrar of Deeds, you are listed as the owner
of this property. Therefore, enclosed please find an invoice for the clearing of this sidewalk.
The City of Blair will levy special assessments against this property in the amount of $80.00 to
recoup the cost of snow removal and administration (please see attached notice). If you would
prefer to not have special assessments levied against this property, we would need to receive full
payment of the attached invoice no later than Mondav. March 10.2008.

Notice is hereby given to all persons owning, occupying or interested in lots or parcels of
land located on Lot 12, Bel Air Addition, Blair City, Washington County, Nebraska (1311
Prospect Avenue) and Tax Lot 357 in Section 11, Township 18N, Range 11 East of the 6th
P.M., Washington County Nebraska (1704 Park Street), that on March 11, 2008 at 7
o'clock P.M. at 218 S. 16th Street, a meeting of the Mayor and City Council sitting as a
Board of Equalization and Assessment will equalize, levy and specially assess the costs of
sidewalk snow removal on property known as Lot 12, Bel Air Addition, Blair City,
Washington County, Nebraska (1311 Prospect Avenue) and Tax Lot 357 in Section 11,
Township 18N, Range 11 East of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Nebraska (1704 Park
Street) ), Washington County Nebraska.
The property subject to assessments is described in Resolution No. 2008-10, which was
adopted on February 26, 2008.
At such meeting all persons interested may appear and make objection to such
assessments. The proposed schedule of assessments is available for inspection at the
office of the City Clerk.

COUNCIL MEMBER F ANOELE INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed schedule for special assessments against Lot 12, Bel Air Addition, Blair
City, Washington County, Nebraska (1311 Prospect Avenue) and Tax Lot 357 in Section 11,
Township 18N, Range 11 East of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Nebraska (1704 Park Street)
is hereby tentatively approved and placed on file with the City Clerk for inspection by all
interested parties; that the Mayor and City Council shall hold a special meeting at 218 South 16th
Street on the 11th day of March, 2008, at 7 :00 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of sitting as a Board of
Equalization to levy special assessments on the lots and parcels of land benefited by sidewalk
snow removal on the property known as Lot 12, Bel Air Addition, Blair City Washington County,
Nebraska (1311 Prospect Avenue) and Tax Lot 357 in Section 11, Township 18N, Range 11 East
of the 6th P.M., Washington County, Nebraska (1704 Park Street); that notice of the time of hold-
ing such meeting and the purpose for which it is held shall be published in The Enterprise, a legal
newspaper published and of general circulation in the City at least 10 days (two publications)
before the date of said hearing; that the City Clerk is directed to publish such notice in the form
presented to this meeting, which form of notice shall be annexed to the minutes showing passage
ofthis resolution, and the Clerk shall mail copies of such notice to all interested parties as provided
by law.
