Dear Mr. Trevarthen,
Thank you for your efforts to remove the nuisance violation of the dilapidated building in
the rear of your property. However, upon inspection of your property, we noted several piles of
material under blue tarps being stored in your rear yard. These tarps and the items under them
are considered a nuisance violation and this is not a suitable solution for permanent outdoor
storage.
You mentioned to Brenda at City Hall that you were going to construct a small shed to
house these miscellaneous items. Please be advised that you will need to construct the
building to house the items stored under the tarps no later than August 31, 2008 or the items will
need to be removed.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Again, thank you for your efforts in
helping to preserve a clean, neat and safe community.

Upon the complaint and information of Geoffrey C. Hall, Blair City Attorney, of the
county aforesaid, made in the name of the State of Nebraska, before the undersigned
County Judge, within and for said county this 22n day of May, 2008, who being duly sworn
on oath says that he has just and reasonable grounds to believe, and does believe;
COUNT I
That on the 21s day of August, 2007, the Defendant was notified that the property
located at 1152 South Street was in violation of the City's property maintenance code
specifically a deteriorating structurally unsound shed /storage building exists on the property
and that the Defendant failed to correct the deficiencies identified and the violation still
exists as of the filing of this Complaint.
Contrary to the form of the City of Blair Ordinances in such cases made and
provided, against the peace and dignity of the City of Blair, State of Nebraska : This matter
shall be called up before the County Court of Washington County on June 11, 2008 at 9:00
a.m. for arraignment.

complaint had been filed regarding violation of city code on your property. To date, the
violation has not been corrected.
The violation is for Nuisance (Considerable amount of dog feces in backyard.)
According to the City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the
receipt of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be reinspected on or about February 17, 2008. If
the violation has not been resolved, a citation will be issued. If an extension is needed
for additional time to comply with this request, please contact City Hall at (402) 426-
4191.
