ORDINANCE 2119
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, ANNEXING AND
EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BLAIR TO INCLUDE
THE REAL ESTATE WHICH IS GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THE SE 1/4 SE 1/4
OF SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 18, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE 6 P.M. AND THE NE
1/4 NE 1/4 OF SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 18, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE 6 P.M.; ALL
IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEBRASKA WHICH IS MORE SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER IN THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, that parcel of real estate described above is adjacent and contiguous to the
current municipal corporate boundary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA:
WHEREAS, it appears desirable and for the public good and best interests of the
City of Blair, that an ordinance be passed annexing and extending the corporate limits of
the City of Blair to include the real estate hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, Said real estate is contiguous or adjacent to the corporate limits of
the City of Blair, and is urban or suburban in character, and
WHEREAS, Said real estate will receive material benefits and advantages from
annexation into the corporate limits of the City of Blair.
Section 1. That the real estate hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby
annexed and included within the corporate limits of the City of Blair, Nebraska, and said
real estate and the persons thereon shall hereafter be subject to all of the rules,
regulations, ordinances, taxes and all other burdens and benefits of other persons and
territory included within the corporate limits of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
Parcels of land as outlined on the attached "Exhibit A" and located in Sections 14
and 23, Township 18 North, Range 11 East of the 6' P.M., Washington County,
Nebraska more particularly describes as follows:
Area contains the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 23, Township 18 North, Range 11
East of the 6 P.M., and the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 in Section 14, Township 18 North, Range 11
East of the 6 P.M., all in Washington County Nebraska, totaling 80 acres.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
