Several weeks ago you spoke with Phil Green regarding the vehicle that is parked
in the rear of your property along the alley. At that time, Phil stated as long as the vehicle
was licensed and operable, you would be able to leave the vehicle in this area.
Unfortunately the Municipal Code will not allow for permanent placement of this
vehicle in the alley which is 20 feet and considered city right of way. As outlined in the
attached copy of the Municipal Code Section 5 -405, no vehicle shall be parked in any
alley except for the purpose of loading and unloading. Therefore, this vehicle will need
to be parked on private property or stored off premise if parking it entirely on your
property is not feasible.
This vehicle has been in this location for an extended period time of time and
needs to be moved on or before September 28, 2007. If an extension is needed for additional
time to comply with this request, please contact either Brandy or myself at (402) 426 4191.

This is a courtesy letter to notify you that a complaint has been filed on your property
located at the above address for one or more of the following code violations:
XX Section 6 -333 Junk Accumulation (Inoperable Vehicle, flat
tires, need new plates put on vehicle, mower)
XX Section 5 -405 Parking in Alley
Section 6 -310 Appliances in Yard
Section 4 -505 Nuisances
4 -501 and 4 -502
XX Section 4 -506 Weeds, Grasses, Vegetation, Litter
Enclosed you will find a copy of the codes for your reference regarding the noted
violations.
Three (3) days after the date of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be
inspected to assure the violation has been removed. If following the inspection it is determined
that the violation still exists, you will receive a formal notice to abate the violation within five (5)
days of the date of the formal notice as per the attached code. If an extension is needed for
additional time to comply with this request, please contact City Hall at (402) 426 -4191.

Dear Mr. Rosterman:
On or about August 15, 2007, you received a courtesy letter notifying you that a
complaint had been filed regarding violation of city code on your property. To date, the
violation has not been corrected.
The violation is for Junk Accumulation (inoperable vehicle with flat tires and
plates that are not current, and mower) and Weeds.
According to the City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the
receipt of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be reinspected on or about August 27, 2007.
Again, if the violation has not been resolved a citation will be issued.
