The undersigned Chairman of the Airport Authority of the
City of Blair hereby forwards a copy of a Resolution duly passed
and adopted at the meeting of the Airport Authority on December
17, 1996. As indicated in the Resolution, the Airport Authority
is requesting the name of the airport be changed to the Blair
Municipal Airport.

RESOLUTION NO. 1996 - 7
BOARDMEMBER O' HANLON
INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, the Airport Authority of the City of Blair has
acquired Eagle Field located south of the City of Blair designat-
ed K46; and,
WHEREAS, the Airport Authority desires to officially change
the name of said airport to Blair Municipal Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, THAT the name of Eagle Field be
changed to Blair Municipal Airport.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Chairman and Secretary of
the Authority are hereby authorized and directed to execute any
and all necessary documents, forms, or instruments necessary to
change the name of said airport to Blair Municipal Airport.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT a copy of this Resolution shall
be forwarded to the Federal Aviation Administration and the
Nebraska Department of Aeronautics on behalf of the Airport
Authority requesting said name change.
