COUNCILMEMBER STEWART INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair, Nebraska, may by resolution
establish water rate fees for customers of the Blair water system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, THAT the minimum water usage fees for customers of the
municipal water system are set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by this
referenced herein; provided further, that all such rates shall become effective January 2022 usage
with the billing which shall be sent to the customers on or about February 25, 2022 and due March
1, 2022, delinquent March 10, 2022.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, that the Water Rate Schedule attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and
by this reference made a part hereof as though fully set forth herein, which has been presented to
the City Council, is hereby accepted, and adopted by the City of Blair, Nebraska.
COUNCIL MEMBER STEWART MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER RUMP. UPON
ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS VOTING "AYE" SHEPARD, STEWART, RUMP,
WILLIS, WOLFF, HALL AND JENSEN. COUNCIL MEMBERS _NONE VOTING "NAY",
THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED
THIS 14TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2021.
