This letter is in response to your letter dated 09/25/2023, informing the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) that all work for the referenced subgrantee has been completed and
payments made in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policy, and guidance. The
documentation provided meets the requirements of 44 CFR §206.205, Payment of claims,
concerning the payments of all projects. As a result, our systems and records have been updated to
reflect the requested Subrecipient closure based on the Federal share shown in the enclosed
Subrecipient Closure Summary.
Therefore, this Subrecipient is now considered officially closed. Please advise the Subrecipientof
this action and its right to appeal within 60 days of notification, pursuant to 44 CFR §206.206,
Appeals. The Subrecipientmust retain all records that document Public Assistance project funds
approved as part of this subgrant for a period of three years from the date of the final Subrecipient
closure action. As stated in 44 CFR §206.207, Administrative and audit requirements, the
Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General has the authority to conduct a federal
audit of this disaster assistance grant or any of the subgrants. In addition, non-Federal audits are to
be completed in accordance with 44 CFR Part 14 and the Office of Management and Budget
Circular A-133.
