COUNCIL MEMBER SANDVOLD INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, the City of Blair is in need of an additional truck for the use of the Project
Superintendent vehicle;
WHEREAS, the City of Blair has purchased vehicles in the past from dealerships upon the
research of city staff into pricing of like vehicles;
WHEREAS, Sid Dillon Fleet & Commercial has submitted a price summary for a 2024
Chevy Silverado 25001-11), Summit White Color, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A;
WHEREAS, the 2024 Chevy Silverado 250OHD with the handwritten amount of
$47,549.00 is acceptable to the City of Blair;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have been presented with this Resolution which
would authorize City Staff to secure the truck for the Project Superintendent for the sum of
$47,549.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Resolution is hereby
adopted and approved by the municipality and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Blair are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the municipality.
COUNCIL MEMBER SANDVOLD MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER HIGHFILL.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS HIGHFILL, FERRARI, SANDVOLD, WILLIS,
WOLFF, PAULSEN AND HAFER VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING `NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED
AND APPROVED THIS 24TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2023.
