2023-41RESOLUTION NO. 2023-41
COUNCIL MEMBER WILLIS INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, Blair Resolution 2023-37, adopted on August 22, 2023 amended the Blair
Police Policies and Procedures to authorize the Mayor of Blair to appoint, with City Council
approval, certain city officials, namely: a Part -Time Blair Police Officer; and
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appoint Aaron Wattenbach as a Part-time Police Officer;
WHEREAS, the Mayoral appointment of the above-named individual are acceptable to the
City of Blair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Aaron Wattenbach is appointed as a Part-
time Blair Police Department and is hereby adopted and approved by the municipality and the
Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Blair are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same
on behalf of the municipality.
COUNCIL MEMBER WILLIS MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ,
WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER HAFER. UPON ROLL
CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS HIGHFILL, FERRARI, PAULSEN, SANDVOLD, WILLIS,
WOLFF, SCHANK AND HAFER VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING `NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED
AND APPROVED THIS 12TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2023.
