NUIICE n n | \ . m \ u n o The Blair city school board at its last meeting which was held last Monday evening,completed the arrangements for the financial settlement with t h e Gardner snhool district which was set out into a separate district a short time ago and which was legally organized on the ume evening that the city board met, which was last Monday evening. At this meeting referred to a school board was elected consist- irlz ot Robert Rasmussen as mod- erator for u oerm of 'three years; J.L .Peter-wi as director for L term of two years and Oedl Thompson, as treasurer for a term f of one year. The newly elected board are making preparations for many improvements which will be made in the near future. The financial settlement between Blair City district and the new district we are informed is that the Gardner people retain thu r mi v e in addition the sum of S2450.This it would appear is a very fair settlement for both ddes and we are/certainly glad to know that this unhappy tangln is closed and we hope for the best of us all.
