The Mayor and Council of the City of Blair, Washington County,
Nebraska, met in regular session in the Council Chambers at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. Mayrir Edward Eagleton presided and City Clerk, L. W. Svendgaard, recorded
the proceedings of the meeting.
ROLL. CALL
The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll and on roll call
Councilmen: Andreasen, Lutz, Megrue, Metzler and Stewart being present,
Councilmen Brown and Conrad were absent and Councilman Murdoch reported
after roll call.
ORDER OF BUSINESS
Whereupon the Mayor announced that the introduction of Ordinances
was now in order.
It was moved by Councilman Lutz and seconded by Councilman Stewart
that the minutes of the proceedings of the Mayor and Council in the matter
of the passage and approval of Ordinance No. 807 be preserved and kept in
a separate and distinct volume known as the Ordinance Record of the City
of Blair, Nebraska, and that said bolume be incorporated in and made a
part of these proceedings the same as though spread at large herein.
Councilman Andreasen called for the question. The Mayor put the
question and directed the Clerk to call the roll for the vote thereon:

ORDINANCE NO 807
Introduction of Ordinanee No. 807 of the City of Blair, Nebraska,
and the matter now coming before the Mayor and Council was the passage and
approval of Ordinance No. 807 of the City of Blair, Nebraska. This
Ordinance No. 807 was introduced by Councilman Andreasen and is in words and
figures as follows:
ORDINANCE NO 807
AN ORDINANCE CREATING SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT NO. 10 AND PROVIDING FOR CLAY
TILE, CAST IRON PIPES, MANHOLES, AND ALL "INCIDENTALS NECESSARY FOR THE
COMPLETION OF SAID DISTRICT:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA:
Section 1. That there is hereby created within the City a Sanitary
Sewer District to be known as "Sanitary Sewer District No. 10" consisting
Of the following described property, to -wit: From the existing manhole
at 15th and Adams Street East along the North side of Adams Street 453 feet,
which is the following lots, Tax Lots 16, 24, 25 and 26 all in Section 1,
Township 18 North Range 11 East of the 6 P.M., Washington County, Nebraska,
in the City of Blair.
Section 2. The Sanitary Sewer District is to be constructed of clay
tile, cast iron pipes, manholes, and all incidentals necessary for the
completion as %required by the Special Engineer in accordance with plans,
specifications and estimates to be hereafter accepted.
Section 3. The cost os said clay tile, east iron pipes, manholes and
all incidentals necessary for the completion of the district shall be assessed
against the property in said district specifically benefitted thereby, in
proportion to the benefits.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.216 ENTITLED" CITY CLERK; EMPLOYEES;
OFFICERS; SALARIES" OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA,
BY RAISING THE SALARY TO BE RECEIVED BY THE CITY CLERK FROM $600.00 PER
YEAR TO $1 ;500.00 PER YEAR AND AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Blair, Nebraska:
216 entitled "City Clerk; Employees;
Code of the City of Blair, Nebraska,
read as follows:
Employees; Officers; Salaries 16 -310.
Clerk is fixed to be $1,500.00 per
installments.
City employees and officials whose compensation is not
otherwise fixed by ordinance or state law shall be classified
at the time of employment as (1) employees on an hourly wage
basis, or (2) as employees on a monthly salary basis. At the
time of employment of any such employee or official the Mayor
and Council shall fax, the grade of such employee or official
shall not thereafter be altered from such grade except by
ordinance changing the grade of such employee or official. The
exact compensation to be paid any such employee or official
shall from time to time be fixed within the grade by resolution
of the Mayor and Council.
Officials on a monthly salary basis shall be classified

Grade II, over $100.00 per month to $200.00 per month; Grade III,
$200.00 per month to $250.00 per month; Grade IV, $250.00 per

$350.00 per month; Grade VI, $350.00 per month to $375.00 per
month; Grade VII, $375.00 per month. to $400.00 per month;
Grade VIII, $400.00 per month to $425.00 per month; Grade IX,
$425.00 per month to $450.00 per month; Grade X, $450.00 per
month to $650.00 per month.
Employees on an hourly wage basis shall be classified into
grades as follows: Grade I, $1.00 per hour or less; Grade II,
$1.00 per hour to $1.10 per hour; Grade III, $1.10 per hour to
$1.25 per hour; Grade IV, $1.25 per hour to $1.30 per hour;
Grade V, $1.30 per hour to $1.35 per hour; Grade VI, $1.35 per

AN ORDINANCE CREATING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 66 IN THE CITY OF
BLAIR, NEBRASKA, DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREFOR,, DESIGNATING THE IMPROVEMENTS
TO BE MADE IN SAID DISTRICT, LISTING THE PROPERTY INCLUDED WITHIN SAID
DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF PAYMENT. OF THE IMPROVEMENTS MADE
THEREIN, AND PROVIDING WHEN SAID ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair,
Nebraska, hereby declare and deem it necessary to improve an unpaved gap in
the street and alley system by paving the alley in Block forty -four (44)
between 18th and 19th Streets of said City, both of which streets are now
paved, and being a distance of less than two city blocks and less than 1200
feet. For said purpose there is hereby created Street Improvement District
No. 66 of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
SECTION 2. The improvement to be made is to pave said alley
between said 18th and 19th streets in said City, the grade of said alley
to conform to the existing grades of said City of Blair and said improvement
to be made according to plans and specifications and estimate of cost to be
prepared by the special engineer of said District and to be filed with the
City Clerk and to be approved by the Mayor and Council of said City.
SECTION 3. The improvement included in said Improvement District
No. 66•and subject to special assessment to pay for the cost and expenses
of said Street Improvement is all of the privately owned lots, parts of
lots and tracts of land and the lots, parts or tracts of land owned by any
municipal or public corporation and abutting upon and adjacent to said alley
to be improved, to -wit:
Lots one, two, three, four, five, six seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,
twelve, thriteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen,
nineteen, twenty, twenty -one, twenty -two, twenty - three, twenty -four,
twenty -five, twenty -six, twenty- seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine and
thirty (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,
19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 , 28, 29 and 30),in Block Forty -four
(44) of the City of Blair in Washington County, Nebraska.
SECTION 4. The cost of said improvement in said improvement
District shallbe paid out of thefund created by the levy and assessment on
the Lots and Parcels of land in said Street Improvement District benefitted,
to be in proportion to said benefits, all as by the Statutes of the State
of Nebraska in such cases made and provdded.
SECTION 5. This ordinance Shall bake effect and be in force
from and after its passage, approval and publication in accordance with
law.

in the street and alley system by paving Wilbur Street from a line extended
northerly from opposite the northeast corner of Tax Lot Eighty- seven(87)
in Section Thirteen (13) , Township Eighteen (18) North, Range Eleven (11) ,
East of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Washington County, Nebradca, easterly
to the westerly right of way of U.S. Highway No. 73, which said U. S.
Highway No. 73 is also known as 13th Street in the City of Blair For
Said purpose there is hereby created Street Improvement District No. 67 of
the City of Blair, Nebraska.
SECTION 2. The improvement to be made is to pave said portion of
said street as aforesaid, the grade of said street to conform to the
existing grades of said City of Blair and said improvement to be made
according to:plansfand•specifications and estimate of cost to be prepared by

AN ORDINANCE VACATING LOT 17 IN BLOCK 118 IN THE ELEVENTH ADDITION TO THE

For park and park purposes, salaries of employees, maintenance
improvement and operation of Swimming Pool $ 20,000.00

of the fiscal year shall be transferred to the Pnrks and Park Purpose Fund.
SECTION 6. That there be, and hereby is appropriated out of the
money derived from the operation of the municipal light system and the sale
of the amounts for each object and purpose as follows:
For salaries of light commissioner and wages of department employees
operation & Maintenance of Municipal Power Distribution system $125,000.00
For extension and improvements of municipal light power system
generator & pland improvement and line extensions $225,000.00
Any balance of said fund reminaing over and unexpended at the end
of the fiscal year shall be transferred to the Electric Light System Fund.
SECTION 7. That there be, and hereby is appropriated out of the
money derived from taxes for sewer maintenance for said fiscal year and out
of all other funds and moneys available therefor, the amounts for each object
and purpose as follows:
For salaries of employees, operation & Maintenance of sewer system
and Sewer Treatment Plant $ 15,000.00
Any balance of said fund remaining over and unexpended at the end
of the fiscal year shall be transferred to the Sewer Maintenance Fund.
SECTION 8. That there be, and hereby is appropriated out of the
money derived from the levy of taxes for the operation, maintenanee and
care of the Blair Cemetery. $ 6,000.00
Any balance of said fund remaining over and unexpended at the
end of the fiscal year shall be transferred to the Cemetery Fund.
SECTION 9. That there be, and hereby is appropriated out of the
money derived from the levy of taxes for the payment of refunding bonds and
interest thereon and the sinking fund for said fiscal year and out of the
moneyderived from taxes levied for payment of intersection and for district
paving bonds and interest and out of any and all other funds and money avail-
able therefor, the amounts for each object and purpose as follows:
For payment of principal and interest on bond due
or to become due and for sinking bond funds $115,000.00
Any balance of said fund remaining over .and unexpended at the end
of the fiscal year shall be transferred to the Sinking Fund for the payment
of refunding bonds.
SECTION 10. That there be, and hereby is appropriated out of the
money derived from the levy of taxes for the maintenance and operation of the
Fire Department for the present fiscal year and out of all other money and
funds available therefor, belonging to said City, the amounts for each object
and purpose as follows:
For maintenance and operation of the City Fire Department $ 6,000.00

SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair,
Nebraska, hereby declare and deem it necessary to improve an unpaved gap in
the street and alley system by paving 20th street from the North line of
Colfax Street to the South line of Grant Street, For said purpose there is
hereby created Street Improvement District No. 70 of the City of Blair,
Nebraska.
SECTION 2. The improvement to be made is to pave said portion of
said street as aforesaid, the grade of said street to conform to the existing
grades of said City of Blair and said improvement to be made according to
plans and specifications and estimates of cost to be prepared by the special
engineer of said District and to be filed with the City Clerk and to be
approved by the Mayor and Council of said City.
SECTION 3. The improvement included in said Improvement District
No. 70 and subject to special assessment to pay for the cost and expense of
said Street Improvement is all of the privately owned lots, parts of lots
and tracts of land and the lots, parts or tracts of land owned by any
municipal or public corporation and abutting upon and adjacent to said street
to be impxo ved, to wit:
Lots six (6) and seven (7) in Block Sixty -two (62) , First Addition,
Tax Lot Two Hundred Forty -nine (249) , the North Seventy -five (75)
feet of the East Seventy -five (75) feet of tax Lot: Two Hundred Fifty (250) ,

SECTION 4. The cost of said improvement in said Improvement

17 in Washington Park Addition to the City of Blair. For said purpose there
is hereby created Sanitary Sewer District No. 11 of the City of Blair,

SECTION 2. The improvement to be made is to construct any lay
an 8 inch vitrified clay sewer tile with manholes, Y's and cleanouts,
and said improvement to be made according to plans and specifications
and estimates of cost to be prepared by the Special Engineer of said
District and to be filed with the City Clerk and to be approved by the
Mayor and Council of said City.
SECTION 3. The property included in aid Sanitary Sewer District
No. 11 and subject to special assessment to pay for the cost and expense

AN ORDINANCE CREATING SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT NO. 12 IN THE CITY OF BLAI$,
NEBRASKA, DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREFOR, DESIGNATING THE IMPROVEMENTS
TO BE MADE IN SAID DISTRICT, LISTING THE PROPERTY INCLUDED WITHIN SAID
DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF PAYMENT OF THE IMPROVEMENTS MADE
THEREIN AND PROVIDING WHEN SAID ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair,
Nebraska, hereby declare it necessary to construct a sanitary sewer on
Fairview Drive in said City from the extended west line o'f Lot 40 in Block
2 to the center of llth street, thence northerly along the center of
llth Street to a point 10 feet north of the extended south line of Lot 28
in Block 3 and Lot 31 in Block 2, all in Fairview Heights Addition to the
City of Blair. For said purpose there is hereby created Sanitary Sewer
District No. 12 of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
SECTION 2. The O.mprovement to be made is to construct and lay
an 8 inch vitrified clay sewer tile with manholes, Y's and cleanouts, and
said improvement to be made according to plans and specifications and
estimates of cost to be prepared by the Special Engineer of said District
and to be filed with the City Clerk and to be approved by the Mayor and
Council of said City.
SECTION 3. The property included in said Sanitary Sewer District
No. 12 and subject to special assessment to pay for the cost and expense
of said improvement is Lots 29, 30, 31 and 40 in Block 2, Lots 24, 26,
27 and 28 in Block 3, and Lots 44 and 45 in Block 4, all in Fairview
Heights Addition to the City of Blair, Washington County, Nebraska.
SECTION 4. The cost of said improvements in said sanitary sewer
District shall be paid out of the fund created by the levy and assessment
on the lots and parcels of land in said improvement district benefited
and to be in proportion to said benefits, all as by the statutes of the
State of Nebraska in such cases made and provided.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance ehall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, approval and publication in accordance with
law.

AN ORDINANCE CREATING STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 73 IN THE CITY OF
BLAIR, NEBRASKA, DECLARING THE NECESSITY THEREFOR, DESIGNATING THE
IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE IN SAID DISTRICT, LISTING THE PROPERTY INCLUDED
WITHIN SAID DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF PAYMENT OF THE STREET

SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Council of Blair, Nebraska, hereby
declared and deem it necessary to improve Park Street in the City of Blair
from its intersection with 16th Street of said City west to its inter-
section with 19th Street in said City by paving the same, and for said
purpose there is hereby created Street Improvement District No. 73 of
the City of Blair, Nebraska.
SECTION 2. The street improvement to be made on the Street in
said district shall be to pave the same, the grade of said street to
conform to the existing grades of said City of Blair, and said improvements
to be made according to plans and specifications and estimate of cost to
be prepared by the special Engineer for said district and to be filed
with the City Clerk and to be approved by the Mayor and Council of said
City.
SECTION 3. The property included in said Street Improvement
District No. 73 and subject to special assessment to pay for the cost
and expenses of said street improvement is all of the privately owned
lots, parts of lots and tracts of land and the lots, parts or tracts
of land owned by any municipal or public corporation and abutting upon and
adjacent to said street to be improved, to wit: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in
Block 10 of the Second Addition, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Jorgensen's
Addition, Lots 6 and 9 in Block 20 in Dexter's Second Addition, Lot . 2
in Block 19 in Dexter's Second Addition, Tax Lots 140, 154, 166, 109,
357, 358, 379, 380 and 381 in Section 11, Township 18 North, Range 11,
East of the Sixth Principal Meridian, and the right of way of the

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair,
find and determine:
That in furtherance of the purposes and pursuant to the provisions of L.B.
159 adopted at the 27th session of the Legislature of Nebraska, approved
on March 14, 1961, (the "Act) , and in order to promote industry and trade
by inducing manufacturing, industrial and commercial enterprises to locate,
remain and expandf operations in Nebraska, and more particularly in
the vicinity of Blair, Nebraska, and to promote a sound balance between
agriculture, commerce and industry, that it is necessary and advisable
in the best interest for the City of Blair to:
(a) Acquire, but solely from the proceeds of the sale of the
Bonds herein referred to, certain real property, plant
buildings and equipment located in Washington County, Nebraska,
(hereinafter referred to as the "Project").
Lease the Project to Blair Manufacturing Company, a Nebraska
Corporation (the "Lessee" over a term and for rentals
sufficient to pay the principal and interest upon the Bonds,
to pledge and assign said lease rentals for such purpose
and to create a reserve account for the benefit of said
Bonds; and
(b)

Issue, for the purpose of defraying the cost of acquiring the
Project, and to create a Reserve Account, Three Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) aggregate principal amount of
City of Blair Industrial Development Revenue Bonds - Blair
Manufacturing Project (the "Bonds ") under and pursuant to
the said Act, the Bonds to be dated as of December 1, 1963, ..
and to be issued under and secured by a Mortgage and Indenture
of Trust dated as of December 1, 1963, (the "Mortgage ") upon
the Project between the City and First National Bank & Trust
Company of Lincoln, Lincoln, Nebraska, (the "Trustee's).
Section 2.. In accordance with the requirements of Section 5 of
said Act, the City Council does hereby deem and find the following:
(a) That the amount necessary to pay the principal of said Bonds
will be Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) and the
amount necessary to pay the interest on said Bonds (unless
optionally redeemed prior to maturity) will be Two Hundred
Forty -five Thousand Thirty -three Dollard and Seventy -five
Cents ($245,033.75).
That the lease rental payments to be made by the Lesee (as
set forth in the Basic Rent Schedule appended to the Lease
and Agreement between the City and said Lesee as Exhibit B)
together with the amount of accrued interest and premium
(if any) will be sufficient in amount to pay all principal
and interest requirements on the Bonds as the same become due;
That the Lesee has convenanted and agreed with the City to
maintain the Project, to pay all taxes with respect thereto
and to carry all proper insurance coverages; and
(d) That The Lease and Agreement between the City and said Lessee
contains all of the convenants and requirements to be per -
formed by said Lessee as required by the Act and is in full
and complete compliance and conformity with all of the prov-
isions of said Act.

Section 3. The Contract for Purchase between Blair Manufacturing
Company, as Seller, and the City, as Buyer (the "Contract ") relating to
acquisition of the Project be and the same is hereby in all respects
authorized, approved, ratified and confirmed and the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver such
Contract for and on behalf of the City. A true and correct copy of such
Contract is attached :hereto as Exhibit A and made.a part hereof by reference.
Section 4. The Lease and Agreement dated as of December 1, 1963,
between the City, as Lessor, and Blair Manufacturing Company, as Lessee
(the "Lease and Agreement ") and the pledging of the rentals and income
therefrom for the security of the Bonds and interest coupons, be and the
same are hereby in all respects authorized, approved, ratified and confirmed
and the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said Lease and Agreement for and on behalf of the
City. A true and correct copy of said Lease and Agreement is attached
hereto as Exhibit B and made a part hereof by reference.
Section 5. The Mortgage and Indenture of Trust between the
City and First National Bank & Trust Company of Lincoln, Lincoln, Nebraska,
as Trustee, dated as of December 1, 1963, (the "Mortgage") and the mort-
gaging of the Project be and the same are hereby in all respects authorized,
approved, ratified and confirmed and the Mayor and City Clerk be and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver said Mortgage
and Indenture of Trust for and on behalf of the City to the Trustee as
therein provided for the security of the principal, interest and premium
(if any) of all of the Bonds. A true and correct copy of said Mortgage
is attached hereto as Exhibit C and made a part hereof by reference.
Section 6. The issuance of the Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($300,000.00) of City of Blair Industrial Development Revenue Bonds -
Blair Manufacturing Project, dated December 1, 1963, in the foi'iit and of
the contene set forth in said Mortgage be and the same is hereby in all
respects authorized, approved, ratified and confirmed and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute, seal
with the official seal of the City and deliver said Bonds for and on behalf
of the City. All of the provisions of said Mortgage with respect to said
Bonds be and are hereby incorporated herein by reference.
Section 7. The sale of the Bonds to J. Cliff Rahel & Co., Omaha,
Nebraska, at 100 percent of principal amount plus accrued interest to the
date of delivery thereof is hereby authorized, approved, ratified and
confirmed and the Mayor ands .City Council are hereby authorized and directed
to deliver the Bonds to said purchaser upon receipt of the purchase price
therefor and to deposit the proceeds thereof with the Trustee to be applied
in the manner set forth in the Mortgage.
Section 8. The Bonds and interest coupons shall not constitute
nor give rise to a pecuniary liability of the City or a charge against
its general credit or taxing powers but shall be payable solely from the
revenues of the Project.
Section 9. This Ordinance does hereby incorporate by reference,
the same as though fully set out herein, Legislative Bill 159 of the 72nd
Session of the Nebraska Legislature, approved on -March 14, 1961.
Section 10. The Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to accept assignments of all contracts with respect to acquisition
and construction of the Project, to execute and deliver for and on behalf
of the City any and all additional certificates, documents or other papers
and to perform all other acts, as they may deem necessary or appropriate,
in order to implement and carry out the matters herein authorized.
Section 11. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of
this Ordinance shall be held invalid, the invalidity of such section,
paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any of the other provisions
of this Ordinance.
Section 12. All ordinances, resolution or orders, or parts thereof,
in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are to the extent of such
conflict hereby repealed.
Section 13. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.

The Mayor and Council of the City of Blair, Washington County,
Nebraska, met in regular session in the Council Chambers at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. President of the Council, Brown, presided at the meeting and City
Clerk, L. W. Svendgaard, recorded the proceedings of the meeting.
ROLL CALL
The President of the Council directed the Clerk to call the roll
and on roll call Councilmen: Andreasen, Brown, Lutz, Megrue, Metzler,
and Stewart. Councilmen Conrad and Murdoch reported after roll call.
ORDER OF BUSINESS
Whereupon the President of the Council announced that the
introduction of ordinances was now in order.
It was moved by Councilman Megrue and seconded. by Councilman
Stewart that the minutes of the proceedings of the Mayor. and Council in
the matter of the passage and approval of Ordinance Nov 829 be preserved
and kept in a separate and distinct volume known as the Ordinance Record
of the City of Blair, Nebraska, and that said volume be incorporated in
and made a part of these proceedings the same as though spread at large
herein. Councilman Metzler called for the question. The President of

Introduction of Ordinance No. 829 of the City of Blair, Nebraska,
and the matter now coming before the Mayor and Council was the passage and
approval. of Ordinance No 829 of the City of Blair, Nebraska. This
Ordinance No. 829 was introduced by Councilman Metzler and is in words and
figures as follows:
ORDINANCE NO. 829
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.1102 ENTITLED "FIRE DEPARTMENT; MEMBERS;
NUMBER; NEW MEMBERS;" OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BLAIR BY
INCREASING THE NUMBER OF ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THE DEPARTMENT FROM FIFTY TO
SIXTY, AND AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. That Section 2.1102 entitled "Fire Department;
Members; Number; New Members;" of the Municipal Code of the City of Blair,
Nebraska, be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows:
The Department shall have not more than sixty active members on
its rolls at any one time. The Department may adopt its own rules and
regulations for the appointment of members thereto, but all such appoint-
ments to membership in the department must first be approved by the Mayor
and Council of the City.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
therewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
