Thomas – We have not updated to the 18 code yet. Our intention is to move that direction after the first of the year.
Covid has delayed several initiatives that were trying to complete. Our new Building inspector is making good progress
on the Code certifications. He, with the help of a prior building inspector have completed a review and summary of the
18 code so that we can present it to the Council sometime after the first of the year. Probably March/April.

Esther Sola sent Blair notice of a pending regression to their existing Building Code Effectiveness Grading Schedule
(BCEGS) classification. Esther has retired from ISO and I am the new point of contact. Esther’s notes indicated that Blair
planned to adopt the 2018 ICC codes by January of 2021. Would you so kindly provide the code adoption ordinances and
effective dates. Please advise and feel free to contact me with any questions.
