Johnson, Kuhr, $abbas.s, Trisdale and Wheeler. Whereupon the Mayor announced that the int roduction of ordinances was now in order., It was moved, by Councilman J. D. Johnson that the minutes of the proceedings of the Mayor and Council in the matter of the passage and approval 'of Ordinance 735 be preserved and kept in a separate and distinct volume known as the Ordinance.Record of the City,,of Blair,. Nebraska and said separate and distinct volume be incorporated in and made a. part of these proceedings the same as though spread at large herein, Councilman Trisdale seconded the motion. ORDINANCE NO. 735 Introduction of Ordinance No. 735 of the City of Blair, Nebraska and the matter now .coming before the Mayor and Council was the passage and approval of Ordinance No. 735 of the City of Blair, Nebraska. This Ordinance was introduced by Councilman Farnberg and is in words and figures as follows: ORDINANCE NO. 735 AN OR INANCE REPEALING SECTION 15 OF ARTICLE VIII. OF CRAFTER 2$, POLL TAX, PAYMENT NOTICE OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TEE`CIYT OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA: AND TO PRESCRIBE THE TIME THIS IS TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT. BE IT ORDAINED BY 'THE MAYOR AND CITY 'COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA. Section 1. REPEAL OF POLL TAX, PAYMENT .NOTICE.- Section 15', of Article VIII,. Chapter 25 is Co be repealed so that there will not be any collection of:poll tax for the year 1960 and subsequent years. Section 2. The Mayor and Council. of the._City of Blair, Nebraska, hereby find and determine: That pursuant to a Resolution of Necess:ty,which was duly proposed and passed by the Mayor and Council of this City there has been constructed a sewage treatment and disposal plant and improvements accessory thereto in connection with the'san.itary sewer system of the City: That the said sewage treatment and disposal plant has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.. suds by the. engineer and approved by the Council:aind Contracts therefor and has been constructed and has been accepted by the City. That the total cost of said improvement is $1k3,567.73 and the improvement is a general, public improvement and is not a local improvement and the cost thereof shall, be paid by taxer levied by valuation on all taxable property in said City; that all conditions, acts and things required by law to exist or to be done precedent to the issuance of these Sewer Bonds of said City to pay for said'sewage treatment and disposal plant do exist and have been done in due form and time as provided by law. County, Nebraska, met in regular session in the Council Chambers at 7:30 o'clock P.M, Mayor Donal& Schettler presided and City Clerk, L. W. Svendgaard, recorded the proceedings of the meeting. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll'and on roll call Councilmen: Andreasen, Brown, Conrad, Megrue and Murdoch being present, Councilmen J. D. Johnson, W. B. Johnson .and• Larsen being absent. ORDER OF BUSI SS Whereupon the Mayor announced that the introduction of ordinances was now in order. It.was moved by Councilman Brown that the minutes of the proceedings of the Mayor and Council in the matter of the passage and approval of Ordinance no. 769 be preserved and kept in a separate -.and distinct volume known as the Ordinance Record of the City of Blair, Nebraska, and that said separate and distinct volume be incorporated in and made a part of these proceedings the same as though spread at large herein. DWELLING UNITS DEFINED: The term dwelling unit when used in this ordinance is to be defined as a place of living that one or more persons maintain as their living quarters, eitheri.eingle or as a family unit. SECTION II, OFF STREET PARKING, TO PROVIDE: Any person, building single dwelling units, or multiple dwelling units, or.creating multiple dwelling units from existing structures is to provide off street parking space for each dwelling unit. SECTION III. BUILDING PERMIT - TO BE DENIM : The City Council is empowered and shall deny a building permit until such off street parking has been provided in the plans and..specifications in single dwelling units, multiple dwelling units or multiple dwelling units.b ®in from'existing structures.
