sponds with their height and age.Where defects are found s
notic e is sent to the parents suggesting that pupils be taken
to a pliy sicisn or dentist for diagnosis snd treatment.It2has

direct result of some minor ailment that esn be easily corrected.
Ilfo deliver health talks at sc hools, both rural snd c ity ,
delineating the benefic ial results of sleeping with open win
dows, the regular use of tooth hntsltes, the proper foods to
eat, and the benefits derived therefrom, and the proper c are
of the bodv.
To visit the homes of the ic liool c hildren, to sec ure the
co-operation of the parents in c orrec ting defec ts sod promot-
ing hotter health.Nutritional instmc tio n is given for those
found to he dec idedly under weight.
Bedside care is not given except in eases of emergency, but
if at sny time there is no one in the family who understands
thi! phase of nursing, the County Nurse will be glad to give
instruc tion and teac h some member of the household how .to
