and aubmit herewith the report of the County Survey or, of asurvey
made by him showing Iomtion of oulven, the grade of the roadwest
of said culvert and Zocation of fences along said road. .
This survey shows said culvert to 'oe between four and Eve feet
north ofthec enter ofsaidClark Street.Said c ulvertisinenlli-
cient to carry the Hood later of said c reek and this fact, togetherwith
the location of said c uivert to the north ofthecenterofgoldroad
throws the bulk of the water over and upon said M. Bullard estate.
Said survey also ehosra that the road runningneatfr omsaid
culvert for a distance of 300 feet is not properly graded, therebeing
e. fall nf thirteen feet from the south aide of said road to the north aide.
thereby throyring practically all ol' the énrfaoe water to the north eide

of said road inacc ordanc e with the law.
.Inasmuc h an mid eulrer la not located in the center of said roa~

road uhould be so graded as to throw the surface watertothesouth

your honorabie body take auch action ae is necessary to put said road
in proper condition to avoid further trouble of this nature. `
