COUNCILMEMBER SCHANK INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution Number 2021-2, the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Blair, Nebraska, adopted the Year 2021 One- and Six -Year plan for the construction and
maintenance and repair of the streets of the City of Blair, Nebraska,
WHEREAS, certain amendments have been made to said One and Six Year Plan
necessitating and amendment to such Plan,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair, Nebraska, that the
2021 One and Six Year Plan for the construction, maintenance and repair of the streets of the City
of Blair, Nebraska, as prepared by the City Street Superintendent, and dated January 26, 2021, be
hereby is amended to add the design and construction of South 14th Avenue from south lot line of
Lot 41 of Northern View Subdivision south to end of development including the cul-de-sacs on
the west side of the 14th Avenue serving Lots 13, 14, 15 and 4, 5, 6, and 7 and on the east side of
South 14th Avenue for Lots 51, 52, 53, and 54, cul-de-sac for 14th Circle serving Lots 33, 34, 35,
36, 37, 38, and 39, all within the Northern View Subdivision of Blair, Washington County,
Nebraska, an Addition to the City of Blair, Washington County, Nebraska.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the amendments to said 2021 One- and Six -
Year Plan are hereby adopted and accepted by the City of Blair and filed with the Department of
Roads, State of Nebraska.
COUNCIL MEMBER MINDY RUMP MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER MARTY
SHEPARD. UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS KEVIN HALL, CHRIS JENSEN,
MINDY RUMP, ANDREW SCHANK, MARTY SHEPARD, JON STEWART, KEVIN WILLIS
AND FRANK WOLFF VOTING "AYE", AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE VOTING
"NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AND
ADOPTED THIS 8TH DAY OF JUNE 2021.
