2417Prepared by and after Recording Return to: Brenda Wheeler, City Clerk, City of Blair, 218 S. 161h Street, Blair, NE 68008 (402) 426-6694 ORDINANCE PASSED ON FIRST READING — JANUARY 12, 2021 ORDINANCE PASSED ON SEOND READING — JANUARY 26, 2021 ORDINANCE NO 2417 COUNCIL MEMBER SCHANK INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND EXTENDING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BLAIR TO INCLUDE REAL ESTATE GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN PART OF TAX LOTS 2 AND 25 IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 22, ALL IN TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE 6TH P.M., WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEBRASKA AND A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN PART OF TAX LOT 19 IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 22, ALL IN TOWNSHIP 18 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE 6TH P.M., WASHINGTON COUNTY, NEBRASKA PROVIDING FOR ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO BE REPEALED AND PROVIDING THAT SAID ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FOLLOWING PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION AS REQUIRED BY LAW AND ORDERING THE ORDINANCE PUBLISHED IN PAMPHLET FORM. WHEREAS, that parcel of real estate described above is adjacent and contiguous to the current municipal corporate boundary. WHEREAS, it appears desirable and for the public good and best interests of the City of Blair, that an ordinance be passed annexing and extending the corporate limits of the City of Blair to include the real estate hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, Said real state is contiguous or adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Blair, and is urban or suburban in character, and Whereas, Said real estate will receive material benefits and advantages from annexation into the corporate limits of the City of Blair. SECTION 1. That the real estate hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed and included within the corporate limits of the City of Blair, Nebraska and said real estate and the persons thereon shall hereafter be subject to all of the rules, regulations, ordinances, taxes and all other burdens and benefits of other persons and territory included within the corporate limits of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
