2020-44RESOLUTION NO. 2020-44
COUNCIL MEMBER HALL INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, THAT Washington County Bank and Two Rivers State Bank are hereby designated
as depositories for City Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor of the City together with either the City
Clerk or the City Treasurer are hereby authorized to sign checks, drafts, or other withdrawal orders,
issued against the funds of the City of Blair on deposit with Washington County Bank and Two
Rivers State Bank or for the investment of excess funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City shall require all funds deposited in said
depositories be fully collateralized at all time at a minimum of One Hundred per cent (100%) as
required by Nebraska Statutes
COUNCIL MEMBER HALL MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ,
WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER SHEPARD. UPON
ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS JENSEN, HALL, SCHANK, WOLFF, WILLIS, RUMP,
STEWART AND SHEPARD VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE VOTING
"NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AND
APPROVED THIS 8TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 2020.
