1211 Grant St.AGREEMENT REGARDING PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into on this 2nd day of March,
2020, by and between, Jay Grace, Address: 1211 Grant Street, Blair,
Washington County, Nebraska, 68008, Legal Description: BC LOT 1, E15' LOT
2 & PT OF VAC ST BLK 69 114 PC 1, Blair, Washington County, Nebraska,
68008, hereinafter the called the OWNER, and the City of Blair, hereinafter
called the CITY.
WITNESSETH: The CITY has previously notified the OWNER that he is
required pursuant to Blair City Ordinance, §4-502. 08, "Nuisances " and Blair
City Ordinance to comply with the Blair Property Maintenance Code. The
OWNER was charged in Washington County Court, CR 19-654 with a
misdemeanor of Nuisances under §4-502.08 with a hearing date of March 3,
2020. The OWNER has agreed to comply with the City Ordinance as stated
above but has requested permission to disconnect the water supply at the stop
box and cap the sewer main as it is located.
WITNESSETH: In consideration thereof, the OWNER and the CITY have
agreed to the following terms and conditions of this AGREEMENT:
1. The OWNER shall tear down the structures located at 1211 Grant Street, Blair,
Washington County, Nebraska, within ninety (90) days of April 1, 2020.
2. The OWNER is permitted to disconnect the water at the stop box and cap the
sewer main as it is located.

3. In consideration of the above, the OWNER shall take out a building permit to
build a new single family home within two (2) years commencing April 1, 2020.
4. If the OWNER does not adhere to this agreement, then the CITY will disconnect
the water main and sewer main at the mains per CITY CODE requirements and
will assess all costs against the property.
5. In consideration of the OWNER and CITY signing this agreement, the CITY will
dismiss the case of CR 19-654, without prejudice. If the OWNER does not abide
by this agreement, the OWNER understands that the CITY may file additional
criminal charges against him for any violations of the City code including the
prior case being dismissed.
6. Agreement shall be recorded against both properties and shall be binding by
future owners of both properties.
REMARKS
THIS IS A LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT—READ IT
The representative of the CITY, in presenting this contract has given me a copy
and explained all its provisions. A complete understanding and explanation
have been given of the terminology, phrases, and statements contained in this
contract. It is understood that no promises, verbal agreements or
understanding, except as set forth in this contract, will be honored by the
CITY.
