COUNCIL MEMBER WOLFF INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, the Revised Statutes of Nebraska §§ 77-1917.01 provides upon Resolution
by the City of Blair City Council for the foreclosure and sale of Real Estate properties upon which
Special Assessments have been placed and delinquent for more than two (2) years and;
WHEREAS, the following Special Assessments have been placed on 1049 Park Street,
Legally Described as: Lot 5 and part of vacated street, Block 4, Blair City of the City of Blair, as
surveyed, platted, and recorded in Washington County, Nebraska.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Blair City Council authorized the
foreclosure and request the City Attorney to proceed to such foreclosure and sale, in accordance
with the laws of the State of Nebraska.
COUNCIL MEMBER WOLFF MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER SHEPARD.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS ANDERSEN, JENSEN, RUMP, SHEPARD,
STEWART, WILLIS AND WOLFF VOTING "AYE", AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING "NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AD
ADOPTED THIS 9th DAY OF JUNE, 2020.

COUNCILMEMBER HANSEN INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYORAND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Council hereby find and determine: That removal of
a structure and cleanup of property through the city's property maintenance code was made to the
following property: Lot 5 and part of vacated street, BIock 4, Blair City, Washington County,
Nebraska has been completed as certified by the City Clerk. That the City billed to owner of the
property for charges and charges have not been paid, and pursuant to Municipal Code Section 4-
502 the charges for removal of a structure and cleanup ofproperty the city's property maintenance
code shall be levied as a special assessment, in the same manner as other assessments. The
attached schedule is a true copy of the charges to be assessed.
SECTION 2. There shall be and there are hereby levied against the following property:
Lot 5 and part of vacated Street, Block 4, Blair City, Washington County, Nebraska set out iii the
attached amounts set out opposite said lot and parcels of ground as per the attached schedule,
which schedule will be corrected to reflect any changes heretofore made by the Board of
Equalization. Said assessment shall become due 50 days after the date of passage of this
Resolution levying special assessment, and may be paid within said time without interest, but if

:not paid by said date shall draw interest at the rate of delinquency as provided by law from and
after the date of passage of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. All said assessments shall be a lien on the property on which levied from
the date hereof and shall be certified by the City clerk to the Treasurer of the City for collection.
A copy of said Resolution shall be filed in the office of the County Clerk:
SECTION 4. The Schedules of proposed assessments with any changes therein as
heretofore directed by the Board shall be attached to and made part of the Minutes of this meeting
and are hereby made a part of the Resolution as if frilly stated herein.
COUNCIL MEMBER HANSEN MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER. WILLIS. UPON
ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS SHEPARD, STEWART,', WILLIS, HANSEN,
ANDERSEN, WOLFF, JENSEN AND HALL VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCIL MEMBERS
NONE VOTING "NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 25TH DAY OF APRIL, 2017.
