Dear Ms. Becker:
I am the Blair City Attorney. I was forwarded your letter dated July 5, 2017
indicating your desire to "donate" the plot to Marsha Burger.
While I can appreciate your kind gesture, under Nebraska law, I am unable to
transfer ownership of these cemetery plots to your cousin by a letter.
I would suggest you, your sister, or your cousin, hire an attorney to assist you
in the proper legal documentation to transfer this cemetery plot to your cousin.

To Whom It May Concern,
Ross and Lela Love had purchased four lots at the Blair Cemetery many years ago. Upon their deaths,
they have been buried there. Their intention was for my sister and I to have the additional two plots.
Years later, our parents asked if we wanted to be buried in those additional two plots. We declined
since we will be buried by our spouses in other cemeteries. Therefore, our Uncle Marshall Burger,
brother of our mother, Lela, was given permission by our parents to be buried in the third plot. The
fourth plot is vacant and still not of interests to us girls. Therefore, we would like to DONATE the
remaining plot to Marsha Burger, our cousin and Marshall's daughter upon her death.
We are writing this to be sure Marsha has a peaceful place to be buried beside her father, Marshall. We
will assume that these letters, signed by each of us, will take care of the matter without further
incidence.
