She is not willing to accept it because it was not part of the estate. She stated that since the estate was done in 1977, you will need to go back through the courts and have a judge sign off on this transfer. Your attorney should be able to help you with this. Our attorney states it is not a difficult process but something that will need to be done in order for us to accept it. Unfortunately, many people often forget to include cemetery lots as an asset and they get left out of the estate closing. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you. I can have the quit claim deed reviewed but as I stated in the office, there may need to be proof of all the statements you gave such as Ralph being named personal representative. I thought you mentioned you had all the paper work to prove each of those statements. Anyway, I am not sure how soon I can have her look at it but I will be in touch as soon as I can. If you could rescan those documents differently and/or send anything you might have giving Ralph the authority as personal representative that would be helpful. I I will be in touch once I talk with the attorney. Thank you. Attached is the burial plot for our family and my grandpa's birth certificate. I called the cemetery and we can bury someone who chooses to be cremated in a space with a traditionally buried relative, thus why we are requesting transfer of all 12 plots, not just the empty spaces. Let me know if this will work and I will get it signed and recorded. Thank you. BLAIR CEMETERY Lot Record Block 19 Lot RnAnim Owner Deceased Age Date of Death 1 Borup, Niels P.
