RESOLUTION 2019 - 31
COUNCIL MEMBER WOLFF INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, Section 5-407 of the municipal Code of the City of Blair provides that the
governing body may by resolution direct the flow of traffic on any street or alley within the
Municipality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, that traffic shall travel one-way going West in the alley
from 14th Street to 15th Street between Washington and Front Streets. The one-way would start at
14th Street right of way and extend west to a point 190' west of the 14th Street right of way. The
Street Department of the City of Blair is hereby authorized and directed to place signs reflecting
such one-way traffic in said alley as established hereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that following the passage of this Resolution it shall be
unlawful for any person to fail, neglect, or refuse to comply with said restriction.
COUNCIL MEMBER ANDERSEN MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION NOT BE ADOPTED
AS READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER STEWART.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS STEWART, RUMP, WILLIS, ANDERSEN,
HALL, JENSEN AND WOLFF VOTING "AYE", AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING "NAY', THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION DULY
FAILED ON THIS 8TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2019.

Dear Blair City Officials
This letter is in regards to our request on 9-10-2019 to install a ground -loop wire in the alley directly
behind the building at 1406 Washington Street, Blair, Nebraska. Mr. Green asked for some additional
information concerning our intent and regarding the contractor to be hired for installation.
First of all, we fully understand and acknowledge that this installation will be in the alley that is
maintained by the City of Blair. We further acknowledge that once installed, it is subject to whatever is
required by the city for maintenance and repair of the infrastructure within the city. Should this system
be compromised in any way because of repaving or other maintenance activities, we the owners will not
hold the City of Blair responsible for damages, rather we will have to repair/replace at our own cost.
The installation of the system will be performed by the vendor that supplies the drive thru intercom
system. The name of the company is RF Technologies, with offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and
St. Louis. Their contact number is 800-598-2370. RF Technologies is one of the largest suppliers in the
USA of this type of equipment and is the main product that they provide. Our current location in
Tekamah uses this same system and we are very satisfied with the equipment and the installation that
they provided.
