Keno Proposal:
A) Organization involved = Blair City Council.
B) The City of Blair spent approximately $900,000 on the construction of the new
fire station located at 19th and Nebraska. As part of the construction, a sign was
constructed along with landscaping to make the area more appealing to the
Community. The sign that was constructed is nearly impossible to read. After
several different alterations were explored, it was decided to inlay a granite sign
into the existing brick facing that can be read easily from the Highway.
C) Estimated Cost for the sign only - $3530.00. This sign is part of a project with a
total cost of $903,500.
D) Keno Funds requested = $3530 or less than 1%
Balance will be City Funds
