2019-28RESOLUTION 2019 - 28 COUNCIL MEMBER RUMP INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, Section 5-407 of the municipal Code of the City of Blair provides that the governing body may by resolution direct the flow of traffic on any street or alley within the Municipality. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, that traffic shall travel one-way going West in the alley from 18th Street to 19th Street between South and Colfax Streets. The one-way would start at 18th Street right of way and extend west to a point 115' east of the 19th Street right of way. The Street Department of the City of Blair is hereby authorized and directed to place signs reflecting such one-way traffic in said alley as established hereby. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that following the passage of this Resolution it shall be unlawful for any person to fail, neglect, or refuse to comply with said restriction. COUNCIL MEMBER WOLFF MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER RUMP. UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS SHEPARD, STEWART, RUMP, WILLIS, HALL, WOLFF AND JENSEN VOTING "AYE", AND COUNCIL MEMBERS ANDERSEN VOTING "NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 24TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2019.
