2018-34RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - 34
COUNCIL MEMBER ANDERSEN INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, THAT Washington County Bank and Two Rivers State Bank are hereby designated
as depositories for City Funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor of the City together with either the City
Cleric or the City Treasurer are hereby authorized to sign checks, drafts, or other withdrawal orders,
issued against the funds of the City of Blair on deposit with Washington County Bank and Two
Rivers State Bank or for the investment of excess funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City shall require all funds deposited in said
depositories be fully collateralized at all time at a minimum of One Hundred per cent (100%) as
required by Nebraska Statutes
COUNCIL MEMBER ANDERSEN MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER JENSEN.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS SHEPARD, STEWART, RUMP, WILLIS,
JENSEN, ANDERSEN, WOLFF AND HALL VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCIL MEMBERS
NONE VOTING "NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 11TH DAY OF DECEMBER 2018.
