BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the Board of Adjustment was held on
October 20th 1994 at 12;00 noon in the Chamber of
the City of Blair, NE.
Board members present were Martin, Beck, Jensen,
Hansen and Carlson.
Also present at the meeting were Mickey and Lisa
Nielsen, Rod storm and Wyman Nelson.
Martin called the meeting to order, and asked if
there was a motion to suspend the readings of the
minutes held June 16 1994.Motion by Jensen and seconded
Beck. 5ayes No Nays. Carried
Martin asked the Nielsens what hardship it would
cause them if the Variance was not granted, A 13foot
variance to the front yard setbackat 1260 Park Street.
in Blair, NE. The variance would be to 25foot addition
to the East of the present house.
A discussion was held and after the questions had been
answerd Chairman Martin asked for a motionudn the
variance.
Motion to grant the variane of 13 feet for the reason
a hardship exists because of the one hundred foot right
of wayand the front of the home would generally align
with the other existing structures in the neighborhood
by Hansen and seconded by Beck. 5 Ayes No Nays. Carried.
There being no further business at .this time Chairman
Martin asked for adjournment. Motion was made by Jensen
and seconded by Beck. 5 Ayes No Nays Carried.
