1994-06-16CITY OF BLAIR NE. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT A meeting of the Board of Adjustment was held on june 16th 1994 at 12.00 noon in the Chamber of the City of Blair, Nebraska. Board members present were Martin, Beck, Waite and Carlson. Also present at the meeting were Ray and Edith Satterfield, Rod Storm, Wyman Nelson and Mel Johnson a contracto. Martin called the meeting to orrder, and asked if there was a motion to suspend the reading of the minutes held March 17th 1994.Motion by Beck and seconded by Waite. 4 Ayes No Nays. Carried. The Satterfields had applied for a building permit at an earlier date, and was granted the permit. On May 31 they appliCad for a variance to be granted. This would require a four foot variance to the side yard setback, to attach a garage to the house to be in line with with each other.. This would require the variance that was requested. A discussion was held by the Satterfield, Johnson and Storm and the Boarc'.. The hardship was stated the house was 100 years old. Potion by Waite to grant the four foot variance by ',. : and seconded by Martin. Vote was Waite and Martin Aye, and beck and Carlson Nay. The applicatio for the variance was rejected. There being no futher business at this time Chairman Martin asked for adjournment. Motion was made by Beck and seconded by Waite. 4 Ayes , no Nays. Carried. Robert J. Carlson Secretary
