1992-06-25CITY OF BLAIR BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT A meeting of the Board of Adjustment was held on June 25, 1992, at 12:00 noon, in the Chambers of the City of Blair, Nebraska. Board Members present were Hansen, Beck, Martin and Carlson. Waite arrived after roll call. Also present were Rodney Storm,., Wyman Nelson, and Violet and Robert Lawson. Chairman Martin asked for a motion to suspend the reading of the previous meeting. Motion by Beck, seconded by Hansen - 5 Ayes, no Nays, motion carried. Chairman Martin called on the Lawsons to explain the reason for wanting the variance requested. Lawson wanted to build a 10' by 20' carport on the present slab of cement already in place at his home at 655 North 24 St. Variance requested would be a 5 ft. variance. After discussion, questions and answers had been asked, Chairman Martin asked for a motion on the variance. Carlson made a motion to grant the 5 ft. variance to an Open Carport 101x20' on the present slab, with the drainage of water off the carport to drain on his property only. Seconded by Hansen - 5 Ayes, no Nays. Motion carried. There being no other business at this time, Chairman Martin asked for adjournment. Motion made by Beck and seconded by Waite to adjourn.
