BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of the City of Blair, Nebraska, Board of Adjustment, was
held on Friday, November:, 2, 1990, at 12 noon, in the City Council
Chambers of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
Present at the meeting were Chairman Martin,.Vqargaret Beck, David
63aite, and Bob Carlson. Also present were Wyman Nelson, Bill Wilson
and Greg Drew, who was asking for a variance at his home located at
594 South 17 St., Blair, NE.
Chairman Martin asked for a motion to suspend the reading of the min-
utes of the previous meeting. Motion by Beck and seconded by Waite,
and carried.
Greg Drew ;;cold what he would like to do tothe front of his house,
a closure of the present stoop and add a new 41x8' stoop, and to cover
the new stoop and sidewalk to the driveway. The front setback ordinance
is 25', but he would have to have a 5 ft. variance to do the above to
his house.
A discussion was held, and after questions were asked, or answered, a
motion by Carlson to grant the 5 ft. variance was made:.for a cover over
the sidewalk to the driveway, seconded by Waite. Chairman Martin called
for a vote, which was 4 Ayes and no Nays.
There being no other business at this meeting, a motion to adjourn
was made by Beck, seconded by Waite, and carried, there being 4 Ayes
no Nays.
