R es Acting Secret or a e Board PROTEST The undersigned reside in the area surrounding the real estate of John Wolsmann, Jr., on which an application for a special use permit and an application for a variance from the provisions of the City of Blair Zoning Regulations, is currently pending. The undersigned oppose the special use permit and the application for variance for the following reasons: 1. The proposed site of the feed lot is located within 1,000 feet of existing residential structures contrary to Section 501.05(3) of the City of Blair Zoning Regulations. 2. There are no unique circumstances or conditions affecting the property and, on the contrary, the Applicant has other sites on his property on which to place the feed lot which would not be within 1,000 feet of an existing residential structure. 3. The variance is not necessary for the reasonable and acceptable development of the property in question. 4. Granting of the variance will be detrimental to the public welfare and injurious to adjacent property; and furthermore the proposed site of the feed lot will be in close proximity to a natural waterway. 5. The strict application of the Zoning Regulations will not constitute an unnecessary hardship upon the Applicant for the reason that alternative sites are available to him.
