BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
A meeting of. the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on
Monday, April 10, 1989, at 12:00 noon in the'Council Chambers of
the City of Blair, nebraska.
Present at the, meeting were Kettlecamp, Rhoades, Snowbeck and
Carlson.
Also present were Bill Wilson, Wyman Nelson, Doug Bullock and
Robert A. Schmid, who has the application for a variance permit.
Rhoades presided over the meeting because of Martin's absence,
and asked for the reading of the previous meeting. Motion.was
mad.e by Kettlecamp to suspend the reading of the previous meeting,
which was seconded by Snowbeck, and carried.
Wyman Nelson explained the 6 ft. Variance asked by Schmid. This
would leave only 1 ft. from the lot line, and this could cause
a precedent in the future. The discussion continued and questions
were asked by all present.
Motion was made by Rhoades to deny the Variance asked by Schmid,
and Rhoades then asked for a second. There being no seconded,
the motion died for lack of a second.
Motion was asked by Kettlecamp to approve the Variance requested
by Mr. 8bt ',d. Again Rhoades asked for a second, and no response.
The moti"V failed for lack of a second.
There being no other business at this time, a motion to adjourn
was made by Snowbeck and seconded by Kett camp, and carried.
