1988-12-09CITY OF BLAIR BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT DECEMBER 9, 1988 A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on Friday, December 9, 1988, at 12:00 noon, in the Council Chambers of the City of Blair, Nebraska. Present at the meeting was Margaret Beck, Jim Martin, A. J. Snowbeck, Mark Kettlecamp, Ken Rhoades and Bob Carlson. A. J. Snowbeck did not vote as there was a quorum present. Also present were William Wilson, City Inspector; Pat Mallette, Real Estate Agent; and Mark Nichols, who represented the prospective owner who wants to build a home on the property. A motion to suspend the reading of the minutes from the previous meeting was made by Beck and seconded by Kettlecamp, and carried. A variance of 10 ft. was asked by Pat Mallette on the Southwest corner of the planned house to be built. The front footage is 110 ft. and tapers off on the West side of the property to 85 ft. on the rear lot line. There is no platted lot to the West, as this is part of Greenbelt Area where the Creek flows through the Baronage Addition. After a discusion was held, Rhoades made the motion to grant the 10' variance on Lot 23 of the Baronage Addition and seconded by Kettlecamp, and was carried by all members of the Board. There being no other business at this time, a motion to adjourn was made by Kettlecamp and seconded by Beck, and carried. Robert J. Carlson
