BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING
Oct. 10, 1988
A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on
Monday, October 10, 1988, at 12:00 noon in the Council Chambers of
the City of Blair, Nebraska.
Present at the meeting were A. J. Snowbeck, Jim Martin, Ken Rhoades
and Bob Carlson. Also present were Nelson Wyman, Doug Bullock and
Jack Gilliland, who is seeking three variances on properties he
owns at 553-555 and 529 North 16 Street in Blair, Nebraska.
Variance #1 - 553 North 16th - Overhang from garage to be built
not within code but guttering will be used to divert
water away from neighbor's property.
Variance #2 - 555 North 16th - Carport for shop to be built is
2 ft. from code. Overhang on North side.
Variance #3 - 529 North 16th - Rebuild front porch asking for a
variance of 8 feet.
A discussion was held and Bullock explained that what Jack Gilliland
was asking for on the three variances would be in conformance of the
codes.
Variance #1 - Rhoades made the motion to accept the \variance;
seconded by Snowbeck, and carried (all in favor).
Variance #2 - Martin made the motion to accept the variance;
seconded by Rhoades, and carried (all in favor).
Variance #3 - Carlson made the motion to accept the variance;
seconded by Martin, and carried (all in favor).
There being no other business at this time, a motion wasmade by
Rhoades to adjourn, seconded by Martin, and carried.
