BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING
September 29, 1988
A meeting of the City of Blair's Board of Adjustment was held on
Thursday, September 29, 1988, at 12:00 noon in the Council Cham-
bers of the City of Blair, Nebraska.
Present at the meeting were Ken Rhoades, Jim Martin, A. J. Snowbeck,
and Bob Carlson. Also present were William Wilson, City Inspector,
and Mr. Edwin Belles, who is seeking a variance on his property at
457 North 23 St., in Blair, Nebraska.
A motion to suspend the reading of the minutes from previous meet-
ing held on September 6th was made by Rhoades, secondedby Martin,
and carried.
William Wilson, Building Inspector, explained that half of the
present garage was on City property now and has been for many years.
The request for the variance is for the ten feet Edwin Belles would
add tothe present garage tothe West. To make the addition to the
garage should require a set back of fifteen feet from lot line, which
is actually about one foot from the lot line.
After a discussion and because of the width of Park Street right-
of-way, motion was made by Rhoades to accept the variance, seconded
by martin, and was carried.
No other business at this time, a motion to adjourn was made by
Snowbeck,seconded by Rhoades and carried.
