Board of Adjustment Meeting Minutes
August 9, 1988
A meeting of the Board of Adjustment for the City of Blair was held at
12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 9, 1988, in the City Council Chambers.
Present at the meeting were members Margaret Beck, A. J. Snowbeck, Jim
Martin, Ken Rhoades and Mark Kettlekamp. Member Robert Carlson was
absent from this meeting. Also present were Douglas E. Bullock, Wyman
E. Nelson, William D. Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fryman.
Motion by Rhoades, seconded by Kettlekamp, to suspend the rules and
the minutes of the June 6, 1988, meeting be approved but not read
at this meeting. All members present voting Aye, Chairman Martin
declared the motion carried.
After discussion of the proposed variance, Rhoades moved and Kettlekamp
seconded the motion to grant a variance of 50 feet to allow the hog
building to be within 40 feet of the center of the road, whether one or
two buildings are constructed. All members present voting Aye, Chairman
Martin declared the motion carried.
Motion by Snowbeck, seconded by Kettlekamp, to adjourn the meeting at
12:13. All members present voting Aye, Chairman Martin declared the
meeting adjourned.
